  • "Great Motel with lovely management" We booked this motel on Wotif and were very surprised at the attention to detail of the management. The motel is one street off the Main Street of Ross, opposite the river and is extremely quiet. The grounds of the motel are immaculate with well kept lawns and lovely flower beds. The rooms are clean and tidy with good block-out curtains. Free Unliimited NBN WiFi was offered. The local hotel/pub is a short 2 min walk away and we enjoyed a very nice evening meal and then walked home. Overall, a great place for a quiet overnight stop.

  • "So glad that the motel was clean - they had stayed in a motel on the east coast that had cockroaches and was dirty Motel spotless - nothing too much trouble - best motel they have stayed in We felt very looked after while we stayed here The grounds/ gardens are beautiful - it’s so peaceful and quiet here - felt very relaxed during their stay It was a little home away from home - the rooms are cosy and comfortable The motel and it’s grounds are immaculate They are like little cottages - so much more than a motel The motel is very well maintained - the bathrooms are spacious and clean it’s so nice to stay here

  • "What a little gem" We stayed here 1 night on our way to Launceston. What a lovely quaint motel. The staff were so friendly and helpful and we were within walking distance to everything. The motel rooms were clean and very well appointed, the bed was very comfortable. The grounds are very well maintained and a pleasure to sit and look at while enjoying your morning coffee. The grounds are non smoking but benches are set up along the river across the road so we wandered out there with our coffee/drinks and enjoyed the view. Would definitely recommend a stay here on your travels.

  • "What a surprise !" My friends booked the 4 of us in for a night at the Ross Motel – I never stay in motels usually and to be honest was not looking forward to it ! Well what a surprise ! The rooms are beautifully styled with a georgian feel, the attention to detail within is as good as any hotel I have stayed in -It was an extremely comfortable stay, the grounds are immaculate and the position quiet and peaceful. I live in Hobart and will be recommending the Motel to all my friends as a perfect stopover.
